Zoom Teeth Whitening

In-chair tooth whitening is a 45 minute treatment in the dental surgery. It uses a stronger concentration of hydrogen or carbamide peroxide, and usually requires a follow up take home course to achieve the best results. While in-chair whitening is a faster treatment, the solution used on the teeth is stronger and may result in sensitivity, which can be managed by desensitizer agents.

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers, require a more complicated process than composite veneers. First, the dentist takes an impression of your teeth to make a model and modify the tooth shape to the desired result. The reshaped model is used as a mould to create a perfectly formed porcelain veneer to be fixed over your tooth. The porcelain veneer is about the thickness of a fingernail and is made in a dental laboratory. The veneer is fitted over your tooth at your next visit. Often the existing tooth will need to be filed down a little to fit the veneer over it.

Composite Veneers

Composite veneers are made from a tooth coloured filling resin. They are shaped, sculpted and bonded to the teeth in one appointment session, making them a quicker and cheaper option than porcelain veneers. They are used to correct less serious aesthetic problems.

Invisalign is a method of treating patients who do not require full orthodontic intervention, but need minimal correction to accomplish great looking teeth and a refreshing smile. A consultation with one of our dentist’s is necessary to determine if Invisalign is the right process for your teeth.

If so, you will go through a period of time wearing invisible aligners, which are periodically changed to bring your teeth into alignment. The length of time to complete the changes you require varies from patient to patient. Please call us to book a consultation. We will show you how Invisalign works and we’ll determine if it is the right solution for you.
